So here I am with one more gem…this time though i decided to explore something beyond the national borders. A place with barely any greenery and more of barren land. It was an awesome experience to be surrounded by a different landscape for a change…deserts and desert moutains

Al Rafisah Dam is one of the most scenic destinations in Khorfakkan. Nestled amongst the Hajjar Mountains, this man-made lake is frequented by several species of migrating birds.
There is a rest area with ample seating from where you can admire the breathtaking view. An outdoor play area with slides and swings is a great attraction at the dam where your kids can have fun while you relax. There is also a mosque at the dam. 🕌
You can enjoy kayaking and pedal boating at the dam.🛶🛶
